In collaboration with Kennesaw State University's Museum of History and Holocaust Education, the Auburn Avenue Research Library will host the exhibit, Fighting Against the Odds: The Tuskegee Airmen: The Segregated Skies of World War II, which examines the inspiring story of the Tuskegee Airmen and their journey to become arguably the most skilled aviators of World War II.

Digitize Archival Collections

The Auburn Avenue Research Library and the UGA Digital Library of Georgia are the recipients of the 2009 National Historical Papers and Records Commission grant to digitize and make Web-accessible eleven late nineteenth and mid-twentieth century manuscript collections that document the historical development of education for African Americans, primarily in the South, from the early 1860s to the early 1950s.
