Grant Resources
The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library houses a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center in the Ivan Allen, Jr Reference Department on the 2nd floor of Central Library. The Cooperating Collections are a nationwide network providing patrons with free public access to grantmaker directories, books and newsletters on fundraising and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center's electronic databases. Librarians are available to help patrons learn how to use these resources to develop targeted lists of foundations that match funding needs.
Other resources include a searchable database of articles about nonprofit management from the Catalog of Nonprofit Literature, a searchable database of 990-PF IRS tax returns and a calendar of grantseeker training opportunities at the Foundation Center's Atlanta office. Videorecordings of past training events are available in the Foundation Center's Events Archive.
NOTE: Online databases Foundation Directory Online and Foundation Grants to Individuals Online must be accessed from the Foundation Collection's location in the Ivan Allen Jr. Reference Department on the 2nd floor of Central Library during the Library's hours of operation.
